Siglo Gran Reserva
D.O.Ca Rioja (Spain)
Wine making process
Harvesting is done at dawn for grapes selected for their balance between freshness, structure and ripeness. Manual harvest in pallets and trailers. Fermentation at 28oC in concrete tanks, 20 days of maceration and 4-5 daily manual pumping over. Malolactic fermentation in concrete and subsequent aging in French and American barrels for 36 months. Subsequent resting in concrete tanks and bottle rack.
Terroir
