Siglo Reserva
D.O.Ca Rioja (Spain)
Wine making process
The grapes are harvested early in the morning, selecting each cluster by hand. The grapes are collected in 12 kg boxes, arriving at the winery in perfect freshness and quality conditions. Fermentation is carried out in 13,000-liter truncated cone-shaped stainless steel tanks. The aging is carried out in French and American oak barrels and is aged for at least 12 months in bottle.
Terroir
This wine is the result of the blend of two of our best vineyards: “Los Poyatos”, a sunny vineyard of more than 50 years old in the area of Azagra, with clay-loam soils at an altitude of 420 meters above sea level. “Los Quiñones” is our oldest Garnacha vineyard planted in 1978 on the slopes of Yerga, Aldeanueva de Ebro, at an altitude of over 500 meters in clay-ferrous soil.
