Siglo Saco Tempranillo

D.O.Ca Rioja (Spain)

Wine making process

The grapes are harvested early in the morning by hand in 20 kg boxes by selected and qualified winery personnel. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. And the aging takes place in French and American oak barrels, giving it a subsequent refinement in the bottle before leaving the winery.

This wine is the result of blending vineyards from the Rioja Alta and Rioja del Reyno areas. The vineyards of Haro are Tempranillo vines planted in goblet with more than 50 years of age in whitish and poor soils, clay-limestone composition, most of them are oriented facing the sun and its altitude is around 750 meters.

Intense cherry red color of high layer, with garnet rim.

The nose is medium-high intensity with predominant notes of red and black fruit in perfect harmony with spicy notes, eucalyptus and elegant toasted notes from its time in oak.

The palate is elegant, fresh, round and with very ripe tannins. The aftertaste is long and evokes the fruity tones it contains.
