Wine making process

Night harvest is made by hand at dawn in boxes of 37 lb. The harvest is carried out only by qualified winery staff. Bunches are selected in by each vine in the vineyard. Bunches are selected in each vine in the vineyard. The alcoholic fermentation begins in troncoconic stainless steel tanks and is then transferred to the barrels for aging on lees. Aged for 6 months in French and American oak barrels.

Terroir

Made with grapes from two vineyards:La Ladera, vineyard of Viura variety of more than 50 years old located at 1148 ft altitude and soil of gravel and sandstone that receives sun practically throughout the day thanks to its South orientation. La Torraza, is a Chardonnay vineyard of 10 years old located at a similar altitude, is a vineyard of 7 acres planted in trellis on a gentle slope with southern exposure.

  Appearance

Lemon yellow, clean and bright.

  Aroma

Very expressive aroma with citrus (lemon, grapefruit), spices and vanilla scent.

  Taste

Fresh, well balanced wine with a compensated acidity and a long aftertaste reminiscent of citrus.

6 months: 80% French, 20% American new and second year oak barrels.
